Queremos que todos possam usar PDFLean, incluindo pessoas que dependem de tecnologia assistiva. Nosso objetivo é atender ao WCAG 2.1 Nível AA em todas as jornadas principais: registro, checkout e os fluxos de trabalho da ferramenta principal.
1. Our promise
PDFLean works to make its website and tools usable by everyone, no matter their abilities or the tech they use. Accessibility is required by law in some of the places we operate, such as the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the ADA in the United States.
2. Standards & scope
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA (aligned with EN 301 549 in the EU) for the website and main steps: sign‑up, sign‑in, subscription purchase, and the main PDF tool. Some older or experimental tools may not yet meet the standard; we fix them based on how often they are used and how much they affect users.
3. Measures we take
- Use clear HTML, page sections, and keep headings in order.
- All controls can be used with a keyboard and show a clear focus indicator, even during checkout.
- Text and background have enough contrast, and we do not rely on colour alone to show status or errors.
- Every form field has a label and help text; we use live regions to announce updates that happen in the background.
- We regularly check our site and fix problems reported by users.
