About this tool
Designed for the moment you need a document changed quickly and privately. Add a text or image watermark to PDF — tiled or placed on a nine-position grid, with rotation, font size, color, opacity and page range. Processing runs locally in your browser's memory — the document is never transmitted, and closing the tab clears it completely. The workflow is deliberately short: load the file, choose the options on the page, run the operation, and save the result. Every choice is applied before the file is written, so re-running with different settings takes seconds. practical limits apply (files up to 10MB); it pairs well with the related tools linked beside this page when one step is not the whole job. Key facts — Processing: runs entirely in your browser, client-side; Access: free with no account required; File limits: files up to 10MB; Privacy: the file never leaves the device.

FAQ
Will my file be uploaded?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser — your file is never uploaded.
Are there any limits?
It handles files up to 10MB; watermark text is limited to 60 characters and supports Latin letters, numbers, and symbols (Chinese not currently supported); image watermarks accept PNG (transparency preserved) and JPG.
What watermark styling options are supported?
Text (up to 60 characters) or image watermarks; opacity from 1% to 80%; single placement on a nine-position grid or full-page tiling; rotation (default -45°, customizable), font size, color (presets plus custom) and page range (e.g. 1-3,5).
Can I process multiple files in bulk?
Yes. You can select multiple PDF files at once on this page to watermark them sequentially, producing a new watermarked PDF for each file. For large-scale multi-step automation, use the Batch Processing workflow.
Is the processed file still editable?
Yes. Watermarking is a standard document edit. The output PDF remains a standard document that can be viewed, printed, or further processed with other tools (such as merge or split), and your original file remains untouched.
