Definition
Section titled “Definition”A ZIP archive is a container that holds many files, usually compressed, and presents them as a single downloadable file. In a PDF workflow, ZIP is the practical answer whenever a job produces multiple outputs and asking the user to download them one at a time would waste their time: a split produces one archive, a tiled long-image conversion produces another.
Example
Section titled “Example”A 40-page PDF split into ten four-page parts. Downloading ten files means ten clicks and ten save dialogs; the tool’s “download all” path packages the ten files into one ZIP, which the user extracts once. The pages inside are unchanged — the container only saves the trip.
