File Size & Quota Limits
Local tools run in your browser with no server-side size cap, but are bound by device memory and browser tab capacity. Cloud caps follow backend configuration and plan quotas — the pricing matrix is authoritative.
Local Processing (Default)
Section titled “Local Processing (Default)”- Single file: bound by browser memory (inline processing handles roughly 10 MB per file); typical documents of tens of MB work smoothly. Split very large scans first.
- Batch: guided by the page UI, generally up to ~20 files per job.
- Pages: roughly up to 500 pages; larger files may slow down or fail — split them.
Cloud Processing (Optional)

Notes:
- Cloud tasks on paid plans are unlimited within fair use (the per-24h figures above are reference thresholds, not hard caps).
- New accounts get a 7-day Pro trial — cancel anytime before the first charge; sign-up AI credits are a separate one-time grant.
- A cloud job consumes credits at the running tool’s weight (default 1 credit per job). Values are backend-configured and may change; check the pricing matrix before checkout.
- Credit packs are valid for 12 months from purchase; packs purchased before October 2026 keep their original no-expiry promise.
If You Hit a Limit
Section titled “If You Hit a Limit”- Local failure: split the file, lower scan resolution, close other tabs to free memory.
- Cloud quota reached: wait for the 24h window reset, buy a Cloud Credit Pack or a Week Pass, or upgrade your plan.
- Cloud credits are deducted upon job submission; a job that never starts is refunded automatically.
